Hey guys I seen a topic here that somebody called David was trying to change a mobile number to EE. But it can't be. because the number he was trying to change here is mine. The number is xxxxxxxxxx. and the last post was 17th of May 2020. Can a mod contact me.

Nos. can be recycled. Did you have that no. on 17/05/20?

Could it perhaps be a number you have not used in a while and it's gone into hibernation ?

 

After 273 days without a chargeable call etc, the number would be lost, and recycled. 

This could explain why you have seen David with your old number.

 

 

Thanks for the reply. Sorry I can't find the topic. Also I have owend the sim card for at least 5 years. So was surprised to see somebody here try to get help to transfare it here. I still have the number. Its on another network. Thanks

Hi there no the card is in use. And he was here asking about changing it from giff gaff to EE. But it's my number and I still use it. Wish I could find the topic. He joined or posted on 17th of May 2020

If the number in question is your number, it's possible this other person is mistaken or has mis-typed the number.

@Ama64  Like your first comment the number was XXXXX. out so how do you know what the number actually was ?  It very unlikely to have not been moderated and still be visible.
