Without turning this into a saga, this is my issue .
My Google Pixel 3a phone decided to stop working, would no longer find EE network, Wifi and was very difficult to charge. Seemed to happen when android update came in, anyway sent off to EE repair dept who said cannot repair as not economical, Phone is under warranty, but typically know one seems to want to help.
In the meantime i put the sim into my old handset, i could rec calls and text, wifi fine but couldnt ring out. EE chat advised my sim locked, so would send a new sim. New sim arrived , put in phone , registered wouldnt work, back on chat, guy sorted .. or said it would. Turned phone on full signal but still cant phone out. Im using a HTC M9, In the meantime ive contacted google to register a warranty claim. .. For now i just need a phone, i have a disabled wife and cannot call her ...Any help would be appreciated as EE customer services phone lines are not taking calls ... HELP PLEASE

Can you send texts?
Can you access data?

No it just goes to dial and then ends call

Are you able to try your SIM in another phone?
Alternatively, you could try getting in touch with our live chat team so they can check your account.

Don’t have any other phones
incoming calls are fine , spent two hours doing that the other night , losing the will to live

You could either try calling or using online chat, @djcontrol.
We will need to get someone to look at your account and make sure everything is set up correctly.

Just tried that again, but even after resetting my network this new chip won’t allow me to call out, offered me early upgrade but that’s another £147 which I don’t have . I think I’ll just have to buy a payg phone and wait for this contract to end so I can move to another provider , disappointed
