Getting PAC code of recently closed account

carljnicholls

Hi,

I was hoping someone could point me to a number or resource that would help me get my PAC code from an account that closed Feb 28th. I did not have a sim card availble to transfer it in time and now it is unavailble via the website when logged in. The only numbers i can find on here require you to enter your number to get past option which i no longer have.

Numbers tried include:

07953 966 250

0800 0798586

Thanks in Advance

@carljnicholls : If you called to cancel your no. after 28 Feb, it should still be in its 30 day notice period. Therefore it is still alive & you should still be able to get its PAC.

Try calling CS on +44 800 956 6000 (option 2 > option 4) . That won't ask for an EE mobile no.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Hi @carljnicholls

Are the numbers for which you want a PAC, live on the EE network?

You mention a recently closed account, but unless those numbers have been migrated to another billing-account, I would take your comment to mean the numbers have been disconnected.

If that is the case, then those numbers have been released back to EE and are no longer yours.

Hi @bristolian

Thanks for your reply. The number i want to transfer is from the disconnected EE contract. I cancelled my contract (after contract end date) and foolishly thought it would revert to pay as you go, noticed a couple days prior but being a weekend i couldnt get a sim delivered in time.

Do you know of any way to contact/raise a ticket to still request as numbers have become a form of ID in a way.

Thanks again

Contacting EE on 0800 9566000 shouldn't require an active number, but depending on how long it's been since the numbers were disconnected, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Did you specifically ask for the numbers to be migrated to PAYG when you requested cancellation?

Hi @bristolian

I didnt specify to convert the contract to Pay as you Go. Live and learn! Thank you for the number it got me my PAC code. Apparently it is availble shortly after contract termination but it can not be guaranteed. The contract terminated on the 28th so it been less than a week.

Thanks for all the help!

Kind Regards,
