I have an essential plan 4GB and I'm considering getting a smartphone for my wife using the same plan; however it seems like only the Essential Plan 10GB exists now - at the same price as my Essential Plan 4GB. Seems like I'm being overcharged for my plan now - can EE up my data limit to price match? Will not use EE for my wife's phone if not.

At the moment, I see 4 GB 5G SIM-only at GBP 10/mth and 10 GB 5G SIM-only at GBP 12/mth as Additional Line exclusives, both 24 month duration.
Is the price difference you see accounted for by the 10% existing customer discount plus any price rise your existing contract has seen, or is the price difference greater than accounted for by these? Is the length of plan comparable as regards 12 months versus 24 months?
