Went in-store last Friday to ask about early upgrade, spent an hour in there while rep looked for a deal. Found one but was told I'd have to wait on the phone to be delivered. Went to pick up phone today and was told the deal was no longer there and I had, in fact, only reserved the phone. Apparently EE cannot lock the deal details until the phone has arrived, which is unbelievable if true. The price has jumped from 34 to 49 pounds pm. The advisor in the store could find any details of my deal.
Where do I stand here? I feel the deal should be honored. Poor show from EE if not.

Did you pay for the early upgrade when you went into store and selected the new plan and phone?
Also, did you get a receipt for the new plan?
