Hello
For around two weeks my download speed has been intermittently dropping to between 0.11 and 4.19 mbps, when it's usually at the the 52mbps mark.
I'm hoping for some advice interpreting my router stats and speed checker results before contacting EE directly. Last year they replaced my hub after a similar issue, and since then it's been great (until now).
I'll post the stats in a follow-up post; I've tried this twice today already and the post has disappeared both times, perhaps because the form doesn't like the HTML format of the tables.
Thanks

Your speed is 56 Meg for the last 34 hours. So where's the issue? Are you talking WiFi Speeds? They're always variable & unreliable.

Hello. Thanks for your reply, which I think says quite clearly that the stats I posted don't reveal any problem. That was the first hurdle I needed to get over, so that's helpful.
If this suggests that the problem is wi-fi only I think need to look at why - faulty hub? some other factor? I don't fancy my chances as download over wifi has been great for at least a year; nothing (that I am aware of) has changed and yet all of our sudden I'm seeing it slow right down to unusable speeds.
I'll plug something in using ethernet and see if that crawls at the same time as wifi next time it slows down.
Thanks

Try both a wired & a wireless speedtest here http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html . Click on the "Results Page" button at the bottom of the graph you first see and then copy to here just the "Link to this result:" link that you see below the next main graph.

Hello, Thanks for the reply - here are the results of your suggested tests.
First, wired:

Then wireless:
https://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/1628101712318653855
Both tests from the same laptop.
I'll keep the wired connection setup (I don't normally use it) so that I can try and run another wired test next time the DL speed plummets on a wireless device.
Thanks
