Does Apple Music Smart benefit require Apple ID in UK region?

I have difficulties in activating my Apple Music subscription, I have checked that the number is correct and the default line is EE. Still, I get the error now having an Apple Music subscription via EE.

Could the issue be related to the fact that my Apple ID’s region is not the UK?

to have the EE Apple Music offer you need to text music to 150 and then follow the links provided

you also need to create a apple account to have the EE offer applied to it. This can be done in the music app.

This doesn’t seem to answer the question. Does this mean the offer can be used on an iTunes account that is not in the UK region?

Hi @Vehwtn,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

I've checked our terms and conditions and I can't see any restrictions at our end. I'd recommend contacting Apple to check Apple Music is available in the region your Apple ID is connected with and that you can use it with a UK based subscription.

@Vehwtn  There is nothing in the T&Cs saying it has to be a UK iTunes account see HERE  but if you can not get it working because it’s not a UK account it will be assumed that you are using a UK account as it’s an offer for UK customers of a UK network and UK customers have no reason not to be using a UK iTunes account as the as that’s the country the offer is made within.
