Hello,
It seems that DPD has managed to lose my phone (upgrade) travelling from their hub to their depot. I've raised the issue with both, DPD and EE and an investigation has been launched.
The only issue is I'm a bit worried that if a van driver/courier has stolen the phone, would my data be safe? They'd obviously have the phone, phone number, my email address, my home address etc. And most importantly they'd have my sim card?? Is it still safe to keep my number or should I ask for a new sim card? Is that even possible? I'm scared the sim card can be used for scams 😞
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Another question, if the phone was stolen, would they be able to put the sim card in and log in to my EE app and place random orders or reroute my replacement phone? I'm sorry for the silly questions, I'm just extremely worried about the situation.

Hi @Egleltv.
It will be highly unlikely that this kind of thing has occurred.
Once an investigation has been completed, the appropriate action will be taken.
Do you not already have a new SIM card on the way?

Hi,
Thank you for your reply! The EE has shipped out a new phone and SIM card already 🙂 I'm very happy about the service. They've also assured me the other phone and sim card is blocked as of now, so my data cannot be used. 🙂
