Can't connect to Personal Hotpspot, iphone 12mini

Hi,

Please help I cannot connect to my personal hotspot. I have tried with a laptop and a PS5. My iphone is up to date IOS 14.4. Most of the time neither even recognize the hotspot (that I have turned on and have set a password for)  and my laptop sometimes finds it but just says 'can't connect.' It does'nt pop up on my device to enter a password for the personal hotspot

Welcome to the community.

Could you try resetting your network settings please?

Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings > Follow the prompts.

Let us know if that works.

Thanks for your reply, I have tried this a few times and it still does'nt work i'm afraid. One thing I have noticed is that, I can sometimes find my iphone hotspot on my list of wifi connections on my laptop, but it wont connect. A blue symbol flashes on and off in the top left hand corner of my iphone but it does'nt take me to the page to enter the password to connect to my hotspot. 

My PS5 never finds the hotspot. This is the one device I really want to use the hotspot for

Does your PS5 pick up any other connections?

Is your data switched on when you try to connect?
