Buying a new handset on SIM only dead

MaidInChelsea
Visitor

I've just changed from a monthly contract to SIM only to save some money, and am currently using my old handset.  Can I buy a new handset separately and keep my SIM only deal?  Do I need to put my current SIM card into the new handset, or tell EE I've got a new handset?  Will I keep my old number?  Thanks!

@MaidInChelsea  you can use whatever handset you like just put your Sim card in it and carry on as normal.  Your contract is the sim not the device.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
