EE should hang their heads in shame, no return promised calls and no response to 3 emails.
Just taken out 3 24 month contracts with EE
ONLY reason to change from Virgin was to use data plans on 2 Apple 6 watches
I have the message that the internet is litered with EE members pulling their hair out, it seems for 3 or 4 years EE cannot get to grips with this.
Message "Your EE account is ineligble to enable mobile data on your Apple watch. Contact EE etc"
I have seen so many posts and the general concensus is best of luck!! you need to strike lucky with getting someone at level 2 whao actually undersatnd the problem. Level 3 is the only way.
I knew I was being fobbed off on Friday, promised a call back today (Monday) but knew it was not going to materialise. It Has Not!
Sent three emails to the person I was speaking to who arranged the level 2 putting me through. No Replies 😞
I will need tocancel these 3 contracts before the 14 days, sooner actually due to the watches otherwise I'm massively out of pockecet.
Have been told I have lines available to me, I am eligble and it should be working.
This IS an admin thing as untill the message of "INELIGBLE etc" disappears there is ZERO chancee of moving forward!
I will lose the will waiting for EE or being asked to pair/unpair switch off/back on over and over again.
Please help

I’ve just emailed David and asked that he call me tomorrow to arrange a PAC code.
Pretty embarrassing for EE really. Sufficed to say I won’t be returning or recommending them to anyone.

First @Katie_B @thank you
As previously mentioned it’s swings and roundabouts with deals and what suits. Yes O2 can offer me similar cost/data etc but the bottom line on that front is EE’s data is much faster. That’s important to me. However so is my watch data plan!
If EE can’t fix this 4G calling issue (that is also effecting watch data plans) then I’ll have to change to O2 as slower data and a watches that work (they cost a lot of money to buy) will win out.
EE have agreed an extension to my timescale for cancelling the 3, 24 month contracts I took out without penalty.
So as they’ve done that, I’ll give them a bit longer to sort the issues. I won’t have any choice but to change if they fail as I won’t be able to send my watches back. And of course nor do I want to as having Apple watches was my whole reason for moving from Virgin in the first place.
🤞

have you been given any idea as to when it will be sorted? I'm guessing by the fact you have been given an extension that they still have no idea

No timescale.
I’m just totally bemused by the whole thing!! Exasperated to be honest.
The “system” isn’t technically broken as most users are unaffected.
I still believe this is a provisioning issue. Call it a programming error which would basically be although the system appears to be setup correctly ie the correct info for accounts is being input, the system is interpreting it incorrectly? Or not passing some vital information that it should be.
I am fed up with it 😞

just to update, I now have 4g and wifi calling its just suddenly shown up on my phone, still can't get a mobile plan but at least somethings happening 😀

Still nothing working for me. I have my pac code but am hanging on a bit just to see if this issue resolves. I’d probably rather stick with EE then nice to o2 after reading up on the networks.

yea I was the same to be honest, I was going to give them one last call tomorrow but volte is now showing on the bar at the top of my phone and WiFi calling is working so the issue has obviously now been identified and a fix is in progress

Well most of us were told it was not a provisioning issue but due to the 4G WiFi calling problem affecting many of us and also stopping adding a watch plan.
Well 4G calling fixed yesterday so why aren’t our watches working?
Still the same tedious message of
Your EE account is ineligible to add mobile data blah blah…….
So what’s the fix now please?

yea that's the message I'm getting and mines a samung
