4GEE Router HH70VB - signal strength /RSRP viewable from web interface?

Hi, I'm about to help an elderly relative with installing external 4G antenna to their HH70VB 4GEE router.

Does anyone know if the raw 4G signal strength value RSRP or RSSI is visible in the web administration interface, or can be accessed in some other way?  We want to position the antenna in the best place without eating too much data doing continued 'speed tests' online.

thankyou

Our specialists in our underground volcano lab got back to me to say that, unfortunately, that information isn't available in the admin pages, @4grouterman.

Even our installation experts need extra tools to get that information.

Wish I could have helped your cause more.

Hi @4grouterman.  That's one cool superhero name. I'm imagining The Flash, but in EE colours. 🙂

Welcome to the community.

I'm not 100% on this so I've emailed our device specialists. I'll post a reply here when they get back to me.

Thanks

Chris 🙂

Alas, my superhero alter-ego will not have such great prowess if I fail in my mission to fix my relative's EE signal strength. I'm hoping my trusty EE sidekicks can save the day and give the weak signal a big Ka-Pow!

Unfortunately my spidey-senses alone can't align this antenna, and I don't have the superhero ability to determine the RSRP of the link to the nearest mast without your help. I hope this router's basic web interface isn't my kryptonite.

Yours in superhero solidarity

[imagines himself viewing the router admin pages] Aargh - It Burns! It Burns!

Oh well, thanks for investigating. Speedtest it is then.

Have you tried checking Cellmapper. Net and downloading their app?

It's all a bit tricky, but Cellmapper and the app will point out the *should be* approximate location and frequencies of the mast, assuming your phone supports those frequencies.

I'll be honest, I'm an electronic engineer and I find this stuff tricky and hard to wrap my head around. But it will at least show you the approx location.
