Hi im due an upgrade but want a sim only deal as i love my phone but all the deals on offer are 5G and my phone only supports 4G?

Welcome to the community

Use of the 5G network requires a compatible plan, phone & 5G coverage. If any of those aren't present for whatever reason (in your case, compatible phone) then your phone & plan will work on EE's 4G network with no issue.
