4G Coverage

I’ve been a customer longer than EE have been around. Always stuck with EE for their strong coverage in Hertfordshire area, but the last 6 months or so it’s been shockingly bad if not disgraceful. A lot of the time only getting 3G or less, drops calls when they are really needed. They sometimes say your phones are too old, not in my case as all the family have new apple phone. I have spoken to other EE customers I know, that are not in my local area, and they have also agreed their coverage has dropped too!

EE WHATS GOING ON?………………………………………… EE WHATS GOING ON?……………..  May be it’s time to change.

@Tommo1906 , If you are having problems, then I would suggest you speak to customer service, always worth a try. It also depends where the mast is located and whether they have access to it, as in some cases they do have to get permission and some landowners, where the mast is, may not be so willing to give access.

Is it everywhere or just one place and do you have wifi calling, that is if you have broadband where you are and not a 4G router?

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Hello @Tommo1906

Welcome to the community

Is anything reported on the coverage & status checker for your area? If you select "check network", it loads the faults & issues lookup.

That facility also includes the option to "report a problem" if nothing is reported where you believe there to be a problem.

Have checked, there is a known problem SG3 area, but how long has this been going on? We have been getting no service for a long time now But they still continue to take our money? Surely if EE know that you are getting extremely poor service in a specific area and not getting anywhere near the service you PAY for, surely it’s only polite to tell/text your customers in the affected area, at least reimburse your affected customers. This is not good enough?

It is over a vast area, Biggleswade to Barnet, that I know of?

I am pretty fed up of calling customer service, thanks.
