Hey,
I am experiencing the same issue today after my old number has successfully ported over to EE. I have iMessage ticked for my email but it won’t let me click on my number and says there is an error with activation. What would you say worked for you? I have turned my I message on/off several times and this still hasn’t worked.
would appreciate the help!

Hi @Lnewsham
Please give our Customer Service team a call on 150 from your phone, where a guide will be able to send a Network Update to your SIM card to help your iPhone identify the correct number and activate the additional services.

Hi,
I had already contacted EE yesterday who instructed me to reset my network settings, turn my phone off, then restart. This still hasn’t worked though, so any additional help will be appreciated as my messages are still sending as emails or just SMS
