i have bought an iphone and want to know when i put my sim in will the apps from my android phone be installed automatically ?

Congratulations on getting a new iPhone! It is too bad, but your Android apps will not move over by themselves when you insert your SIM card. You will need to go to the App Store and download them yourself. Some apps may let you move data or settings, but it might be better if you set everything up new on your iPhone.

No, a SIM doesn't hold your apps. They're on the phone. You'll need to find an app that moves content from 1 type of phone to another.
