How to dry out a iPhone 14pro max

My phone got a little bit wet by a leaking drink bottle and now the screen keeps going funny like shaking and going blank white.

Turn it off, Do not charge it and leave in front of a fan for a day or two, occationally trying to shake any excess out of the UBS port. DO NOT put it in rice, despite what the internet says.

@Cathnick0510 you could try silica gel if you have any.   That’s the little packet you get with new trainers.   You’ll need to put it in a container with it and close the lid.  The more the better.
As @killyouridols08 says switch it off you’ll cause more damage playing around with it.

All being will it does dry out and you haven’t caused any issues with it being on.   Failing this do you have insurance?   water damage isn’t covered under warranty if it’s still within a warranty period.

Hi,

The iPhone 14 Pro Max is supposed to be water resistant and should be ok with being submerged in water for up to 30 minutes. Are you sure it’s a water issue and not something else?
