iPhone following a number port

Hi I have recently moved to EE and gave my PAC code. I received a notification to say that transfer was complete however my EE number remains on my phone. Calls to my old number still go to my old phone however if I phone from my new phone it comes up as the number I want. If I text it comes up as my EE number.

I have an IPhone 16 pro max

I have tried to turn off messages and FaceTime then restart the phone as on one of the community posts but no luck. I have also singed out of Apple and back in again .. but again no luck

Very frustrated 😣

grateful for any help

I suspect it’s because I set up my iPhone (Includibg Apple) and activated my SIM before I sent the PaC code …. Just not sure how to rectify it 😢

Hi @LucyPW Welcome to the network, thank you for choosing EE as your phone provider 😊

When did you receice the text to say that your number has been ported over to us?

On the day of the number transfer, you may find that your calls or texts can still go to your old networks sim, but that should resolve itself within24 working hours of the sim transferring over.

We have a web page which gives more information a hour PAC transfers in to EE, just click this link here: PAC transfer

Hi Chris

I received the text on Wednesday so I would have thought that everything would have transferred by now

thank you

Thanks for letting me know @LucyPW

Your number should have moved over by now if the transfer date was on Wednesday.

I'd recommended giving one of our guides a call, so that they can get access to your account and take a look to see what's going on.

To speak to a guide, you'd just need to call 150 from an EE phone, or 07953 966 150 from any other device.

Here's a link to our contact us page: EE contact us
