A lot of people jump on early upgrade or trade-in deals, but most of the time you’ll save more by just paying off the contract and selling the phone yourself.

When I was a year into my iPhone 15 Pro Max contract, the buy-out was about £450. I sold the phone privately for £750 (after receiving my 16PM), then upgraded to the 16 Pro Max with almost the same monthly payment as before.

Selling it yourself usually leaves you better off than relying on trade-in and early upgrade… 10 minutes work for a lot of gain..

Hi Guys, I'm a bit confused about the upgrade situation. When you say upgrade, does that mean basically a new Flex Pay or whatever its called? Or is it like a Trade in? Do you give your 16 pro max for example back or?   Might be a dumb question.
