 the stupid thing is they're still advising it as available and will be dispatched withing 14 days if ordered today, but people have been waiting for the exact same model, colour and size since September. They really need to sort their system out.

I have to return my current phone, and I received a text message saying it needed to be done by the 1st of November. They sent me a letter with everything required to send the phone back, but no one could give me a clear answer on whether I had to return my phone immediately or if I could wait until my new one arrived.

I was given an email address for Likewiz and told to contact them, but they replied saying it wasn’t their responsibility and that I should contact EE support instead. Now, I’ve received an email saying I have to take my current phone to an EE shop to return it.

It’s been really confusing, and I’m just worried that I might be charged for not returning my phone on time.

That's exactly the same as me. There's no point in chasing as they'll say theres zero stock until next week and then suddenly this forum is full of people saying they just received their text. Ill be waiting until Friday and then cancelling

They can't expect you trade your phone in until you receive your new device and leave with no phone, I didn't thi k EE was this poor at the moment but I was wrong

Agreed. I’m PXing my 13 against the 17PM coming this afternoon. But thats direct with Apple, who give me 2 weeks to return the old one, plenty of time to get everything done and I’ve still got a phone 🤷🏼

Yeah I did the exact same thing. I have to send back my 15 Pro Max by Nov 1st. But I wasn’t given a deadline for when I need to send back my current phone after I ordered the 17 Pro Max, so I just assumed I had 2 weeks from the delivery of my new phone. Then I got a few text and emails telling me I had a deadline to send my phone back by, weirdly enough all of the texts/emails had different deadlines (Oct 29th, Oct 30th and Nov 1st), and I also got 3 return packs in the post for some reason. And then I had a “final reminder” last week to send it back by Nov 1st.

So I called EE and spoke to someone about it, who told me that Likewize was aware of the iPhone 17 delays and that I should just call or email them to get them to extend the deadline for when I have to send my phone back, because EE are unable to do that themselves. So I emailed Likewize and they got back to me and said that they can’t extend my deadline because my deadline is 21st Nov 2025 and they can’t extend it anymore? Little confusing since EE says my deadline is Nov 1st. I replied to the email days ago and they haven’t replied since.

So I’m in the same boat as you. Obviously Nov 1st has passed now, and I haven’t received any mail, emails, texts, or messenger pigeons, telling me that my deadline has passed, and I’m not sure if that’s a good thing, or if I’m going to send back my 15 Pro Max when I finally get my new phone and then find out that my original trade-in offer has expired 😕

All super confusing. I ordered the 17 Pro Max Deep Blue 256GB on 14th Oct, and I’ve spotted people in this thread saying they’ve had their DPD texts through, who ordered the same model as me only a week prior, so I’m hoping for my dispatch text soon!
