I’m in the same boat. Just the genetic delay message on the app atm. I called this morning asking for an update and to be fair the lady was lovely on the phone but said there’s been a lot of demand and “should be with you soon”. Not much help but very nice.

It’s a joke, I only ordered off EE because they said delivery is for today, I should have just ordered off Apple or John Lewis.

My Air just arrived - wow. The weight difference from my 14 Pro Max is incredible, I'm looking forward to having a phone that doesn't sag in my suit jacket for a change.
The blue is really subtle too, you could mistake it for white depending on the lighting. It really is a beautiful device.

Same!
The AIR is insane. Exceeded my expectations. I love it. So beautiful, light compared to my brick of a pro max. Just admiring the engineering behind it as well.

I placed order last Saturday. I've already been with EE for 4 months now with sim only plan and added a new line to my EE account in the EE app, last Saturday. Got an EE confirmation mail with my order details in it, same day. I wrote to one EE guide in live chat and she told me that the order is confirmed and sent me a text which said, " your order has been processed successfully to a new line. It is expected to be shipped on launch date." But here is a screenshot for reference to when I try to track my order. I was waiting and now I'm a bit worried about the order. Also the upfront cost has been processed from my bank account(4 days ago).Any leads would be appreciated.

All the components are in the camera bump, the rest is battery. Proper Steve Jobs era Apple product this.

No movement on the standard order page today that you get access to via an email.
So I called in.
Waited 45 minutes to get through. I started by apologising in case he’d already had dozens of these queries and said sorry if I’d reached the wrong department. He asked for an “SK number,” then dismissed the order number EE themselves sent me in my confirmation email as useless. After that he ran through the usual security checks only, then immediately told me the phone would arrive Sunday. No sign he looked anything up, no actual investigation, just a stock answer to end the call. On top of that, I could hear him eating during the conversation.
I understand call centre work can be soul crushing at times, I’ve done it myself, but this was nowhere near professional and the information given was not credible. I found this thread after that call and it matches my experience exactly. My expectation of EE went from somewhat positive based on my experience so far to actually negative now.
New EE customer moving from another long term provider of 10+ years and this is not a good start at all.
Pre-ordered Friday 12th Sep at around 1:20pm, Pro Max, silver/white, 256gb
Also people have already received their EE ordered phones?! What?!

I legit think that Steve Jobs would not be a fan of the current Pro Maxes but would be proud of the Air. I feel Jony Ive only went back to work for the Air and dipped 😀

Unfortunately, EE support is bad. They can help place an order or offer a discount, but if an order is delayed, they simply start lying. I’ve been told twice that I’d receive my new iPhone on Friday at the local EE store. I was told it would be there on Friday, 19th, and nothing happened. Now, they’re telling me it’ll be in 3-4 weeks. I’m going on holiday soon, and I have no idea when it will be delivered.

I'd prefer honesty over delayed disappointment - on the verge of just cancelling, and quite frankly I will if I don't receive by the now "promised" date of this Sunday.
