Hello again, everyone!
It's Techtember, and we all know that means new iPhones!
We have an exciting lineup this year! Newly redesigned Pro Models and the all-new iPhone Air!
Just like last year, let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any relevant discussion around them.
Applicable Devices:
You can find @King-Boss's general discussion thread here: https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Apple-Devices/iPhone-17-Pro-and-Pro-max-Pre-order-Thread-that-time-of-...
Hopefully, @Schoeyy can provide us with a tracking sheet once again this year! Once/if he does, I'll be sure to pin it!
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Maybe by time?
Also has something gone wrong with the order numbers?

I assume you're referring to the order numbers towards the bottom that contain more than 7 digits?
Nothing has gone wrong with the sheet, it's doing what it's been programmed to do, it just seems those people have entered more than 7 digits and have therefore been thrown to the bottom.

Also I cant just sort the Queue positions by time unfortunatley mate. I have to take multiple values into account.
Same with the estimated delivery (which is proving to be the hardest element to get right)
Essentially what needs to be achieved is:
Have submissions ordered by queue position in ascending order. The queue position needs to be determined by estimated delivery date, order number, and order status (as orders that change from Confirmed to Dispatched need to jump ahead in the queue (above 'confirmed' orders), while still respecting the Order Number, so that order numbers with a lower number that also have the status 'Dispatched' appear higher in the list than those with a higher order number with the status 'dispatched').
Meanwhile, the estimated delivery date needs to be influenced by Model, Colour, Order Date, and Order Time, while respecting the rules set I've set in a config sheet, as certain colours and models are in more demand than others. Therefore orders of a popular SKU have been given a 'cutoff' time and any orders made for this SKU after that time will face a delivery delay (as outlined in the config sheet). I've set these cutoff rules according to what i saw on EE's website throughout the day on Friday, and what ive seen today and yesterday - regarding the expected delivery times. (For e.g the Silver Pro Max currently sits at a 28 day delay)
I'm literally just sat here Vibe coding until I get this right lol

I really appreciate the reality check, thank you!

Hey Rosie, Just to back up @Mistr_ZeN's statement, your order is showing as 17th Oct in the spreadsheet.
I do hope you get it sooner, though!

Yes I just saw. Sad haha. But it feels like the sheet is working which is pretty cool!

Seems so! Was much more complicated than I originally envisioned, though! 🤣

Hi Mat, since your resubmission, you've been allocated a Queue position and Delivery date.
