Hello again, everyone! 

It's Techtember, and we all know that means new iPhones!
We have an exciting lineup this year! Newly redesigned Pro Models and the all-new iPhone Air!

Just like last year, let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any relevant discussion around them.

Just had the most transparent of advisers today.

So I ordered at approx 8pm on 12th.

Ive been advised dispatches latest are usually 28 days.

I’ve been told my latest expected delivery date is the 10th October which would fall into this 28 days period, however the adviser was completely transparent and said it could be longer. They’re expecting I should get an update from DPD this week which would tally up with the other advisers who said dispatch/delivered within 14days (so by this Friday). They did say they didn’t want to guarantee I would receive it by the 10th but this is just a latest they would expect me to receive it by, but the delays could make it longer.

 

I mean it’s not the greatest of updates but it’s a bit more transparent and honest out of all 5 advisers I’ve now spoke to. Which tbh is all I’ve asked from EE in the first place is a bit of honesty and some transparency about the situation instead of continuous guarantees that’s aren’t being fulfilled.

They said anyone who ordered today aren’t expected to receive it till the end of October but with all the delays that could even be longer (the same with mine also on a delay)z

Apart from the update I mentioned I got below this is what else they’ve said regarding deliveries:

‘19th Sep was the launch date, so deliveries have already been started, so in coming time you will automatically receive a text notification from DPD once it will get shipped.’

Like others, I’ve had that on my tracking since Friday and received an email saying the same thing on Saturday.

This sounds the most realistic 👍🏻 I was at 5pm ish on the 12th and I was told on Sat I should hopefully get mine by end of this week which ties in with your update too but that “there could be delays”.

Honestly I couldn’t fault this adviser today, the honesty and transparency about the situation has made me less annoyed about it all. Albeit not the greatest of hopes that I still have 0 idea if my phone will be here by the 10th or dispatched this week, but it gives me a somewhat better timeframe to look at.

If it came by the 10th that ties in with a few other retailers who are expecting stock around the 8th too for delivery, so I’m going to guess Apple may also be getting retailers stock in the couple days before that to dispatch out before we then receive it. 
I am thinking however it is likely going to tie in with the other retailers and the majority of Apple stock that was due in around 15th-23rd October when I checked the other day.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

They don’t know the answer and so thought to ask here if anyone else having same issue.

I hope you’re well. 

I ordered my iPhone 17 Pro Max on pre-order day, September 12th. But I am still yet to receive my device. 

I have received an email from EE, two days ago (20th), stating that my ‘order is on track’.

It seems that the iPhone 17 Pro Max, 512GB, Cosmic Orange, device in particular has been delayed, and I would assume that it is likely down to lack of stock. 

But I was wondering if you could possibly give me any kind of updates on when I should be expecting the delivery of my device. I am well aware that I shall receive a text from DPD, usually on the day before of my delivery. 
But again, I was just wondering (and hoping)  if you could give me any kind of update on what is actually going on, and when I should be expecting my new phone? 
(Even an estimate would be appreciated!)

I believe that it is the iPhone 17 Pro Max, 512GB, Cosmic Orange, that is currently either the specific device, or at least one of the devices that a lot of people (including myself) are waiting on. 

May I ask everybody else here who is still waiting for their device, which specific device, storage, and colour are you currently waiting on?
