iPhone 16 & 16 Pro Preorder Tracking Thread

Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release. 

Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

Last year was a mess for EE, Let's hope things are different this year.

Just reading up about Fridays release date, my iPhone 16 pro max pre order was confirmed through an email at 13:49 during a phone call to EE, the customer advisor/seller was saying to me it was looking like the phones would start been delivered on Thursday (tomorrow) ? But he was adamant that I would be getting mine no later than Friday 20th if not before ? 
so I thought I would check status of my order which is still waiting for confirmation? I have pre ordered in the past but never tracked ? Not 100% convinced it will turn up on Friday after reading up a few forums today ? Will keep checking today and tomorrow for an update 👍

I've just received movement on my tracker.

It now says 'Expected delivery date:20 Sep 2024'

Although the little blue arrow hasn't moved to say it's been dispatched or anything.

I also received a text at 4pm stating I was now on my new contract.

i ordered a 16pro 512GB in plain titanium in store at about 3pm on Friday.

Just had a flurry of txt to say my plan has changed but tracker has no updates so hopefully I should be getting mine on Friday 

edit my delivery date is showing for the 20th

The EE tracker is so unreliable. I’ve had the phone in my hand & the tracker still said awaiting confirmation. Don’t be disheartened yet!

Nice to seem some movement, still nothing for me yet, still awaiting, no texts and plan hasn't changed yet. Hopefully there may be some movement later if not tomorrow.

Yes, I was going to be at work on Friday so I thought store collection was a better plan for me.

Not sure why EE are advising people it will be delivered Friday if you have ordered in the last couple of days. I had to cancel my order & re order and I know full well I’ve been pushed back I’m looking at 28 days + now for the PM white 256gb wasn’t expecting at all in the next week or so. Especially how the last couple of years have been with the back log ect. Personally I wouldn’t trust what EE say, when you go on the website it does state the estimate wait times for each model and storage if any help. X
