Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release. 

Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

Last year was a mess for EE, Let's hope things are different this year.

Exactly that, they told me when I upgraded going forward you’ll either have to wait till the end of the contract or pay a early upgrade fee - but I think if you trade in it only reduces the price plan

I suppose another way round would be to sell to mazuma or something like that . Get close to 600 for a 16pm in a years time . Use the 600 to finish of the handset contract then upgrade that way .

I do it this way every year. Usually it’s like £600 but this year they reduced it to like £400 odd. Phone still worth about £700 on the Used Market.

Question for those of you that also ordered a watch.  

Decided after receiving my DPD text today for the phone that I quite fancied the watch as well.  Goes online and takes it through to the confirm stage and they want to send a text to confirm its me which is fair enough but as it's the watch the system has sent it to the watch which of course is paired and will not push through the security text.  

Have been on the phone to 150 and they suggested I unpair the watch and get the text.  Tried that and still nothing coming through.  

Can anyone suggest anything else or would I be best just making my way into the nearest store and asking them to process it.  It's taken me an age to get through this afternoon and I've got no further.  Thanks

They really shouldn't have told you to unpair the watch....it still wouldn't get texts. Most of the time it's easier to just order it on the phone and have them set the delivery number to your phone number, or as you said try in store.

I ordered the 256gb not heard anything apart from to say yesterday my orders on track not really seen a great deal of white on this thread tbh
