iPhone 15 not charging

I set up my iPhone 15 today and all was fine. It charged to 75% and then didn’t go any higher. It’s now on 46% and the phone will not charge. Brand new cable obviously so it can’t be a fault there (I hope!).

@TawS   If the phone will not charge I recommend you call customer services so it can be sent back and replacement sent to you.      Can you try a different cable through?  I once had a brand new iPad mini that wouldn’t charge with the cable provided and I got a free replacement cable from Apple and it was fine after that.

It’s very confusing why it was charging then all of a sudden wasn’t..
