iPhone 15 & 15 Pro Preorder Tracking Thread

Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Hi all 🙂 quick question, been on the fence about my choice of colour since I ordered my 15 pm black and thinking about switching it to Natural, as I’m still waiting for stock like many would it be possible to change the colour and if so would I then be put to the back of the order q and have to wait even longer or would I keep my place?

It seems odd that ee have a warehouse. It would make much more sense for Apple and the networks all to use dpd for the customs clearance, warehousing and dispatch.

That way Apple still have control & the networks send lists of customers and they get fulfilled directly by dpd.* Hence the absence of any ability to check stock & why some items pop on and out of stock as dpd update non deliveries and unallocated stock. A shipment from previous releases from china (1 plane) contains about 150,000 iPhones at launch time. So maybe we should be tracking the planes 😂

*Apple also uses UPS but I think that’s store stock that’s been picked up not ‘goods in’

I rang EE earlier and they told me for the iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB Natural Titanium there’s still no stock🫠🫠🫠

I’m waiting on the same phone as you, EDD 20-24th, order number 0033098. Not holding out much hope of it coming earlier 🤨

EE will cancel your order and re-order for the colour you want putting you at the back of the Q! My advice, keep the colour you ordered. Once delivered pop to an EE shop and see if they have stock of the storage and colour you want and the possibility of exchanging the device. Probably wont work but defo worth a try!

Hi!

You wouldn’t be in the same place no, as the order will be cancelled and re-placed. You can’t swap the colour once it’s been decided. Plus not likely fair on those that ordered the NT if you were to get yours earlier than them even if you did order the BT beforehand.

Yeah and by then stock should have normalised more so more chance that if they do re-order for you, you may be able to get it quicker
