iPhone 15 & 15 Pro Preorder Tracking Thread

Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Ordered on 15th about 7pm finally via phone as first xo order number said please call back - but final confirmation didn’t come through until 8:34am on Sat 16th. So after you. Cannot believe we are still waiting with nothing but others that ordered way after us, already have their phone. I do believe going in early to a pre order shambles has pushed us further behind as no one wants to unpick the mess that was the first 2 days. But it could be sheer volume of demand I suppose. I asked on the phone at the time of order - what is the best colour to order to get it first and considered changing it and she said definitely don’t do that as the most popular colour will have by far and away the most stock coming in so stick with that. Well that was a mistake. I only wanted to know if they think NT 256gb will start to move out this week or not. He seemed to hint that by Wed we will start to get texts.

See I’m in the same boat as you, preordering the iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB Natural Titanium and I got my order confirmation literally 1 minute after you at 08:35am on the 16th, but nobody’s told me anything about stock moving out this week at all. I just keep getting hit with the 28 day timeframe everytime

I was constantly checking the delivery dates for pro max models on apple site, so it was always +30 days when you make a search for blue and black models and bit more (+45days) for the natural and white models. But just few mins back its showing +23 days for black and blue one's.

We should start seeing this weeks round of DPD notifications from tonight, they get delivery’s on Monday and Wednesday. So once they get today’s batch they will start picking orders and people will start getting DPD notifications for tomorrow and Wednesday. 

From what we saw last week and the week before it seems to be in batches of “colour”… Last Monday we saw some Natural’s and Blues Wednesday some white’s..

Had a call from the complaints team, spoke to a really nice guy, very helpful. We chatted about his past experience of iPhone launches etc, how this one seems worse than others, EE have loads of stock on order but they are at the mercy of Apple to send them and they are arriving "as and when".

What struck me was how grateful he was that I spoke to him politely, said people are calling and ranting and raving at them. Which I just can't understand.

Shouting at someone isn't going to get anything faster - and while people get impatient about having a new thing it's pretty pathetic to get so worked up over having to wait for something that you are abusive to another human.

It might well be November, but you are basing that off what? The delivery date Apple is giving you when you load their store up now? Whereas most the people on here ordered 2+ weeks ago. So you think they will somehow deliver the phone of someone that orders today at the same time as someone that has ordered on 15th on a pre-order, we all know that is highly unlikely. The stock will roll in week by week as they do not suddenly spawn in a few hundred thousand iPhone's.

You have no inside information apart from what the rest of us can see and this is a page for contributing positively or not at all, no one needs updating us on the current Apple Store waiting times as we can do that ourselves...

I understand you're eager to receive your iPhone, and I want to reassure you that it's on its way. Sometimes, waiting for something exciting can be tough, but it will be worth it once it arrives. Hang in there, and it'll be in your hands soon!

@LiamE-98 For the Natural Titanium 512, Apples site went to November within an hour or two of launch, so I'd be surprised if EE get hold of them before then.

Other models seemed to be mid-late October.

Agree what Apple's site says now is fairly irrelevant, but what it said on launch day itself is very important. Apple know more about stock levels than EE.
