iPhone 15 & 15 Pro Preorder Tracking Thread

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I've said I'm going to give it another week or 2, see where they're at and if not go for the 15 Plus. The Pro Max has some "nice to have"s that I don't mind losing. I just want to give my younger sister my 13 Pro Max (she's currently using an old Phone 11) for Christmas so I'll need a new phone!

(update I just checked my email to check if I was in pre orders and I was. I ordered mine on the 18th)

I personally got told in my email receipt (15 pro max 256gb)

Expect despatch in more than 28 days.”

but to be fair I was hesitant to buy it so I waited 4 days after pre orders went live

rooky mistake shouldn’t just went for it on the Friday!

In my email receipt I was told within 28 days and I pre-ordered Friday the 15th Sept around 21:00. I went for the PM 256GB NT so it just sows how fast that colour went!

Weird, I preordered at 4pm (same phone spec) and mine says within 14 days which today is the 14th day.

My order confirmation email doesn’t have any delivery dates on it at all

I was looking at this last night and the Blue seems sporadic as there some with higher order numbers that have received theirs before those with lower order numbers. Could be with just the blue but doesn’t make any sense if they’re filling orders on first come first served.

Just for those that are concerned about their contract start date, and it being delayed due to the late arrival of the iPhone, this paragraph was in the T&Cs of my order confirmation:

When you pre-order or order a device that is out of stock, your contract with us starts when your order is accepted but your plan will start at (and you will be charged from) the moment we send your new device out to you (i.e. just before you receive it).

So at least the contract date has changed, even if I have no other benefit of it 😂

When I did my original order for PM 256 NT online at 12:59  on 15th, it already said within 14 days... so they knew from beginning that there is not enough phones... Apple should have just delayed the whole release date by month...

I got email saying they needed to check few more details so I called and they just could not do it as the systems were crashing and told me to call back later... which I did at 6 pm... was on hold until 7:15 and the agent still could not do it ... she then suggested to just do fresh order instead saying they have issues with 36 month flexi plans.. so I said ok and went with the 24 months one... then she said It would be within 28 days but that they might get more stock sooner and that it is not definite.

I got order confirmed at 7:20... and on 22th I got email saying its on track but then nothing since... lol

It could be a case of people not coming back to the forum after they got their texts or forgetting etc. Not that it is what's happening for a fact but just why we could have this odd sporadic pattern going on.

I didn’t even receive an email at all or any confirmation, ordered at 2pm on the 15th, received a text on the 21st saying my order is on track for the stated delivery (I was told release day on the phone) then nothing since.
