Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Still no 0033 number so left it blank. Only had a xko number but that disappeared this afternoon!

I was told yesterday all are out of stock apart from a few pros. . They also said if you order now it will be 28 days but if you ordered last week it be upto 2 weeks from when you ordered .

Live chat last night told me 256GB blue is completely out of stock next batch will be 7-10 days

Well that lines up with what I was told, so I ordered on Saturday 16th at around 9ish.. when the order went through I asked the lady what am I looking at for deliver time? She said “hopefully” release day but my manager is saying definitely “within 2 weeks” it’s at right now… so yeah hopefully by the weekend maybe.

Guessing there’s no dispatches tonight to DPD? Meaning if there’s none tomorrow for Friday it’ll be next week now 😭

I have just called EE again and found out that the timescales aren’t within 28 days, it’s over 28 days now. I don’t mind a delay but I need communication and consistency within the advice given 🤦🏻♂️

So far, I’ve been told: Launch day, 3 to 5 days, next week, 28 days and over 28 days. 😭😭😭 now my order disappeared completely.

If you order now yes, it’s over 28 days. If you ordered past a certain time on pre-order date, it’s either within 14 or 28 days. I don’t expect to hear anything until at least mid October tbh, and I got my order confirmed at 1900 on the 15th. 256/black PM

After originally being told on Monday that my phone was at their warehouse and would be dispatched on 30th September for delivery on 2nd October, I have now been advised this was never the case and should not have been told this. I was just trying to get extra confirmation today that my phone would be delivered on Monday so I could arrange to be at home, but they have advised it is very unlikely to get delivered that day.
I have been offered £10 compensation and they admittedly said they simply do not know when the next batch of stock will arrive.
Annoying to have been told my phone was with them and to expect delivery on a certain date. They should have just stuck with the “expect dispatch within 28 days” line!
