I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

Pre-ordered my 14 pro max on the 10th and was assured I got the last silver one available and I called again on the 16th to sort out a billing problem with another line on my account and asked about my iPhone and was told they’re out of stock and wouldn’t receive mine until they had more stock even though I was assured I would receive my phone on the launch weekend. Was wondering if anyone else had ran into this problem or had received their iPhone they had pre-ordered as of yet

Thought I’d check again before I nod off, online tracking changed to dispatch expected within 24 hours 😬 nothing on DPD yet.
(14PM Deep Purple 512GB, ordered super late on the 9th but had to ring CS Saturday morning to confirm details and didn’t get order confirmation email until 9:59am on the 10th)

nothing this end but I’m checking regularly. Seems there’s a pattern forming though they’ve done those that ordered in the 9th and the 10ths are being ticked off so only a matter of time.
I do think what they’re doing is boxing off the back log of pre orders before sending out any thing new that’s why the CSRs are saying no stock etc, as it’s an umbrella answer until they’ve caught up. They’ll be getting deliveries every day and working their way through the backlog.

i ordered on 10th and this is what the tracker says but i spoke through online chat and was told could be waiting till october 1st

I've heard nothing. I'm trying not to check too much because the 'You have no parcel activity' statement hurts like a fist.
I hope so! Because I've been wondering whether they have been prioritising the pre-order customers. Maybe we'll get some good news today after they've caught up post bank holiday. Fingers crossed for us all!!
