Private Relay in iOS 15 is blocked by EE with the following message:
Private Relay is turned off for your data plan.
Your data plan doesn't support iCloud Private Relay. With Private Relay turned off, this network can monitor your internet activity and your IP address is not hidden from known trackers or websites.
Obviously, this is not acceptable for those of us paying for data service with the expectation of being able to use it as required. Can anybody confirm when this feature will be unblocked for users?

Mine seems to be working currently, though rumours are ee is starting to block?

Hi @matt180,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
Are you seeing this issue when using EE mobile data or EE home broadband?

Thank you @James_B – this issue was appearing when using EE mobile data.
It turns out that this is actually appears to be a known Apple bug in iOS 15.2 and not the fault of EE. For anybody else who experiences the same thing, Apple have updated their Private Relay support document – the important thing is to make sure that the Limit IP Address Tracking preference is turned on under Settings > Mobile > Mobile Data Options.
If this setting is not selected, then the iPhone will display an incorrect error message that points the finger at the network operator!
Thanks for your assistance.

Indeed, lots of reports from other networks like T-Mobile US.
