Upgrade when can't received verification text

My old Iphone SE has died and won't charge. Trying to upgrade online and by telephone. But both say they need to verify by sending text. But obviously can't receive the text. Can I get round this by going into store? Very frustrating.

@JH128  Yes you can you can also put your sim in a different phone to get the code if you have one.    If you go to a store take the phone with you as they can also put the sim in a different device also.   Also just to be sure take in date photo ID with you 

 

Have you tried force restarting the device?  

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

If you pop into an EE Store to upgrade, or use the SIM in any other phone this will work for you.
