Unlocking iPhone X

I know the phone is locked and it no longer has a SIM in but it is still usable as I didn’t do a factory reset. I’m trying to unlock it with IMEI number via the ee website but I keep getting this message.

sorry something went wrong on our end. Please enter your IMEI number again or come back later 

 

I’ve tried calling 150 but can’t get through to an operator!
How can I get this phone unlocked please?

I'm having the same problem. My contract ended with ee a week ago. I got a sim only contract instead, with tesco mobile. Everything's been fine,however my phone broke today. So I've used my previous contract phone, but it's locked to ee. Try using the unlock form online but I get the same message as you.

 

I desperately need this fixed as I now have no phone/no one can contact me. Current phone is broke, and I don't have a sim that works with my old phone unless ee unlock it

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

All iPhone's are unlocked proactively so you should be able to use your phone with any SIM card.

Have you tested another SIM?
