Small chip on new iphone 15 pro screen

Hi, I just received my new phone yesterday and I was setting up and putting on a tempered glass screen protector, I noticed a very small chip on the screen. It’s not so obvious and I honestly wouldn’t have noticed if it was under a different lighting and my face wasn’t so close to my phone (trying to make sure there are no dust stuck between the screen and the screen protector lol). It’s not also where you’d usually hold the phone - the chip is by the lefthand buttons. I rang customer service and the rep said they will investigate and will call me within 72 hours. I just wanted to know if there is a chance EE will replace the phone? Or do I need to hand this for repair. Thanks

Hi all, Thanks for your replies. I’ve followed up with EE yesterday and they will send a new device. 🙂 I asked if they needed some photos, but said no. They will just examine the device when I return it in exchange for the new one. I’m waiting for it o be delivered.

Thank you. Someone sent me a DM here telling me to send a text message to a number which I think may not be legit.

I’ll post the updates here. Hopefully it gets resolved.

EE staff are distinguishable on this forum by "EE Community Support Team" below their username. Although I very much doubt they would ask you to text anyone.

There should be a "report" button within your private message, to flag this message/user to the site admins.
