Sim card

I just upgraded and had my new 15 pro sent to me and I transferred my SIM from my 12 to my 15 and I now have no service and no clear instructions on what to do?

Did you receive a new SIM with the iPhone 15? 

Does the old SIM card work if you put this back into the iPhone 12?
