Good afternoon, 

my partner has unlimited data calls and text however his phone is saying no SIM card when his sim is in place. Can u tell me why

@Melissa212  sounds like the Sim card is faulty and you need to request a replacement Sim card. This is done by calling customer services or by going to an EE store,  but what you could doing is try taking a Sim card out of the device and with a damp cloth give it a clean make sure the Sim card is dry before you put it back into the device to test it..  

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
Thank you so much. I have taken the SIM card out but nothing, it seem to have happened all of a sudden.
