Sent my ipad for repair as it is on loop and stayed in recovery mode! My ipad is in brilliant condition no scratches, no bends, no dents. See picture for reference, but I received a message saying that there’s an issue that has invalidated the warranty of my device”. And they want me to pay £870 for replacement. When I saw the picture they sent me the ipad is bend !?! I uploaded the photo before it was collected to my address that my ipad is NOT BEND! They said it’s not the courier’s fault as they replaced my secured box with their tote bag ? And they need to investigate further. I am not paying £870 that I didn’t cause the bend!!! Th e 4th photo they sent me that it is bend

Hi there @Bl3ssing_M

Thanks for coming to the community.

I'm sorry this has happened when you arranged for the iPad to be repaired.

If you have been in touch with our technical support team, and they are investigating the damage, they will get back to you once they have an update. If this is not resolved, and you would like to open a complaint, you can complete the Make a complaint form and one of our complaints team will contact you to discuss the repair further.

Thanks.

Thank Leanne_T

i have been in contact with them yesterday. But they were saying that it was not the courier’s fault. Then who?? Because when it was collected it was in mint condition. Maybe at the repair centre? They don’t know.

Thanks for coming back to me @Bl3ssing_M

Have the team started an investigation to get this looked into? If so, they will be in touch once they have more information.

They said they did, but they call me back again and stating that it is not the courier’s fault. They want me to pay the £870 because the bend is not covered with warranty! But it was not my fault. As you can see from the picture that’s how mint condition my ipad was before they collected it.
