Replacement phone

Hi, not sure if anyone can help me, I got the iPhone 15 plus in October, it’s now not working at all not been dropped or anything, I took it to the store and on my update it says a request has been put in for a replacement when I called they said it would be a refurbished replacement, I would like a brand new phone as my was pretty one and wasn’t any fault of my own that the service just stopped working altogether on Monday. Any advice? Tia!

@Matisha  Any replacement device will be from refurbished stock, even Apple will give you a refurbish device.   My last device was a refurbished device and you didn’t know it looked brand new.    Even on an insurance claim you’ll get a refurbished device.

Did you have any further issues with your refurbished device?

Hi @Matisha

If you have issues then you'll need to contract EE again. Refurbished handsets tend to be customer returned devices and are practically new.

Thanks

@Matisha  Not one and I had the device 3 years.  A family member is now using it with no issues.
