I'm in same boat - activated my EE sim yesterday and BT phone number ported over this morning - can receive calls and regular texts to iPhone, but iMessage and Facetime can't verify number. I changed the number manually under Phone and SIM settings to ported number but did not help. Waiting 24 hours to see if EE has synced with Apple servers. EE says line is refreshed on their side. Apple says my account looks good. Was working great for 7 years with BT sim. Something to do with new EE sim and porting number over...
