RCS messaging in iphone

Hi

i have switched to O2 from EE and my RCS messaging stopped working since then. I’m using iPhone 17 pro and IMS status is voice and SMS. I have done every single troubleshooting, restore my phone and erase all data. O2 has finally told me that my number or profile is still locked with EE hence my profile isn’t showing RCS.
while EE is saying it’s fully ported out.
can someone pls help me.
thanks

Hi @asadbachiani,

Welcome to the EE Community

If there has been an issue with your port in it would usually effect your normal calls and texts, are you having any issues there or just with enabling RCS? If O2 have identified a problem with the port in though, they should be able to escalate the issue directly themselves to our porting team to get resolved rather than you calling us.

Did you switch to a new phone when you switched networks? You can try disabling your number for RCS using the Google website, then I would leave it a couple of days disabled on your phone then reenable and see if that reverifies your number.

But if it is an issue with your actual network profile or porting, it would be best to reach back out to O2 for further assistance.
