I recently bought an Apple Watch (from apple not ee). When I tried to add mobile data to the watch in the watch app, EE said I was not eligible for an additional line and told me to calm 150 and dial 007. I did so and the pre recorded message said that it couldn’t recognise the number. So now here I am stumped on what to do. To clarify all I want to do is use mobile data on the Apple Watch. Any help would be appreciated

I had the same happen today. Got my iPhone 12 and my Watch SE my partner bought me separately.
Tried to setup and said wasn't eligible for a line so contacted Live Chat to sent a referral off and within a few minutes was approved.
Back on the app I tried again and gave me the option for 30day £7 Watch SIM and all setup.
So try live chat or calling 150 and see if they approve you for the 2nd line then will work
