No Network - New iPhone

stewchown

Just got a new iPhone 17 - transferred the contents of my old iPhone over, no problem. Took the SIM card out and placed it in the new phone - SIM card has been recognised but it's not able to find the network so I can't receive calls or texts.

Also unable to use the EE app for help as it requires a passcode to be sent via text, and unable to call 150.

Have turned the phone on and off multiple times, tried airplane mode etc. etc. Any suggestions?

Solved - had to go to my nearest EE store and get a new SIM. Something to do with the new iPhone setting up the existing SIM as an eSIM and effectively wiping the SIM card.

Hi @stewchown

Did you purchase the iPhone 17 from EE directly? If so did it come with a new SIM card?

Are you able to try the SIM card in an alternative phone to test the SIM card still works?
