New phone transfer

Hi, I recently won a new IPhone and watch on a competition, can I just transfer the sim and data from my current iPhone to the one I’ve won and get rid of the old phone? Obviously the contract will keep rolling on the new phone but not sure of the legality’s of selling my current phone.

@Jamie289  what device you use is totally up to you just put your Sim card in it and everything will carry on with you using the new phone.   

 if you’re old device is an iPhone. You must also remember to remove this from your Apple account as it’s locked to your account so if you don’t remove it, nobody else will be able to set it up.
