Hi all,
Recently I went through quite a bit of trouble getting a new upgrade. I had broken my old phone (Iphone 13) and attempted to upgrade, the money was taken out of my account but no upgrade was sent, I then phoned EE and had to get the account holder (my dad) to order it for me. Then when the order was out for delivery it was marked as fraud and the whole order was cancelled, he then had to spend an hour and a half on the phone to EE to get this resolved and I now have the phone, that whole process took about a week and a half.
I continued to do the set up on my new phone (Iphone 16) and got to the Apple ID, I tried to sign in but it sent a 6 digit authentication code to my number and what do you know my old broken phone buzzed (despite not having the physical SIM card in it) I was unaware that my old phone had an eSIM , so I go onto my account on the EE website and my plan still says I have the contract with my Iphone 13, but if I then go back to the homepage it says 'Enjoy your upgrade' and such which it didn't say last week when I was trying to do the first initial purchase for the upgrade.
I hope that makes even just a little bit of sense to someone and they can help me because I am so lost and I feel like this will never end.
I also want to just put out there that before my Iphone 13, I had an Iphone 11 and I upgraded that in about 15 minutes and the Iphone 13 arrived 2 days later, I didn't have to get my dad to contact EE and there was no issues with the SIM card, as well as this I do actually have a full time job and live on my own and I pay for my phone, broadband, rent and all sorts my dad is simply just the account holder for my mobile.

@xSamarax , you would need to ring customer service to see if they can activate the ESim or request a physical SIM card, which you can do by using something like Skype using the numbers in my signature for free, or go to an EE high street store with photo ID, but in both cases you may need your Dad to do this as he is the account holder, sorry, no other way to do this.
