I have a ee essentails  broadband and mobile contract on simfree can i purchase a new iphone in florida  converting my sim card to esim over here

No, you'll need to be in the UK on the UK network to change your SIM over. 

@Chris_B I assume an American iPhone will work although maybe not have all the same radio functionality as a European model?
