If my phone has eSIM activated and I have to send it off repair how can I get temporarily transfer the number onto another phone?

Hi @pgriffinuk1
Are you sending the repair off through the EE Store? If so, they'll be able to give you a replacement SIM or eSIM there and then. Once you get your phone back, they'll be able to give you another eSIM for that.

I will temporarily be using an iPhone SE 2nd gen (2020)

You should be able to transfer the eSIM through the 'quick start' setup on the iPhone. There are some instructions here on our 'What is an eSIM?' help page under the replacement section.

Unfortunately as the main phone cannot be charged it seems the temporary phone doesn’t allow that method of transfer!!

In that case, you may need to order a replacement SIM either through our Mobile Care team, or in your nearest EE Store.
