Differences between iPad Pro Wi-Fi and cellular

I want to know the softener btw iPad Wi-Fi and cellular version

So mean what’s the difference between the two? 
because if if that’s what you mean then it’s basically one can only be used on WiFi and the other being the cellular meaning it can take a SIM card.

The WiFi Only (non Cellular) can only be used to connect to the Internet using WiFi Connection 

The Cellular version can be used to connect to the Internet via WiFi or by a Mobile Network using the Cellular SIM connection when you not able to use a WiFi connection at additional Mobile Network costs.

Alternatively, you can connect a WiFi Only version through your Phone's Hotspot when your out and about.
