CONSTANT NO SIGNAL ON MY NEW UPGRADED APPLE IPHONE 15

Good afternoon

I would be grateful if anyone  can help me (I see I made the same request for my old phone!) I recently upgraded this  to an IPhone 15. It constantly shows No Signal and I have been unable to make calls.  I Googled for info and turned the phone off and restarted it, then turned Blue Tooth off and on again. I checked with EE and there is no problem in my area and the options they give don’t help me.Finally had a very long online chat with Apple Support sending screenshots etc (and blinding me with science as I don’t really understand it all) . Apple then did a diagnostic check and that was evidently OK. But it’s still showing No Signal and I can’t make calls. I’m wondering if there is something not correct in the set-up procedure which my daughter-in-law did for me when the new phone arrived, Any help would be much appreciated as it is vital I have a phone connection - more so now as my husband has recently had a stroke.

 Thank you in advance

Julia HANNAN

@Juliahannan , did you check service status, that is not just coverage in local area? There are two different ones for checking One bar is still ok, so you should get phone calls and text, and using wifi calling when network not good is another way of using it, that is what it is there for..

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

 No - I didn’t. How do I do that?

@Juliahannan , go to that page I earlier gave you and you will see that it also says service status.

Thanks - I’ve done that following your link and it says Outdoors Good coverage Indoors Good to weak coverage! So I don’t know what’s happening.

I feel I’ve taken up too much of your time now and thank you again. I’ll leave it to EE now. They keep giving me Badges but I’d rather have a phone I can use.

Thanks for checking this, and keeping us updated @Juliahannan.

It sounds like you might not have very strong signal in your home, which is why you've had this trouble on both your old and new phones, however, WiFi Calling should enable you to stay connected, now that it's turned on.

Are you also now able to make calls and send texts, without any issues?

I've highlighted the two distinct options on the webtool. "Check mobile coverage" predicts the normal service in your area. "Check service status" searches against known issues in your area.

The badges you mention are a standard feature of most web fora, and which are generally stacked towards new users. Easily ignored if any unintended offence is caused.

Only when I keep Wi-Fi calling on. Still NO SERVICE on phone. I did at least get intermittent service on my old phone. Not a very happy bunny I’m afraid.

Thank you I have done that and both results are reasonably good however I still have No Service showing onscreen. Am using wi-fi calling

i am ignoring Badges..

Hi @Juliahannan.

WiFi Calling will be the best option for you when you are at home. From what you mentioned about the expected coverage, it does seem like the indoor coverage is the best there, but if it is worse than your previous phone, it is worth speaking to our tech guides over the phone so they can look into it further.
