Hello @Chrissy42 ,

Welcome to the community,

Please explain what your problem is?

We cannot block your phone. Are you trying to put a SIM card in an old phone and it will not work?

If that is the case, then it appears to be locked to another network and would need to be unblocked.

Where did you get this phone from and what network was it used on before?

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

I think OP means a 12 years old child's phone.

@Chrissy42  You can report it lost so the sim is blocked.  This will not stop the device from using WiFi though.   It should block within a few hours.  You’ll then need to call back up when ready to say you’ve found it and the sim will be reactivated but this could take up to 24h to activate,   This isn’t really a good option to block access for a time limit though as it could end being blocked for up to 72h.

you can block device from using WiFi via your own router and you can take the sim out of the device and this would be the better option.
